This is a lightweight static page where I keep short technical notes to myself — mostly about Linux systems, self-hosting, and small automation scripts. Nothing fancy, just a plain page served over HTTPS.
systemd services tidy with per-service users and NoNewPrivileges./proc/stat twice to compute a quick CPU utilization sample.ss -tlnp to see exactly what is listening on a host.I prefer small, well-understood tools over large frameworks, especially on modest virtual machines. Plain text, shell, and a few long-lived daemons go a long way.
